Making Nursing Coverups

We had a request to make a nursing cover up by my daughter. She got tired of having to go into another room to feed her daughter and miss out on so much that was going on. She wanted to be covered completely so she would not offend or even draw attention as she breast feed her little girl in public. So we made this for her.
We had so much fun making this cover up. It is a very cute with posh mommy style colors and a cute little paisley pattern that isn't very busy.

We will be making more of these!

We hope you enjoy it honey.

Tesha's baby shower

Okay so now we are planing a baby shower for Tesha Bachman. She is having a posh-mommy style of shower.

Her colors are Pink and brown mainly but other colors like green, blue and yellow are in it as well.

Her invitations/announcements are very posh mommy......

So we are making a basic diaper cake for her center piece with 3 little flower sundaes all the way down the table.
We are having 5 games with prizes. The prizes will be decorated with the same posh-mommy style. The favors will be little baby shoes with candy inside and the baby's name on the tongue of the shoe and also little rattles with mints. These will be at each place setting
For food we are having it at the Lone Star restaurant and they have wonderful appetizers and lunch menu.
Since Tesha doesn't like the texture of a regular cake, she is having an ice cream cake that we will make ourselves, using her favorite candy bars.....Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
We will be posting pictures of the decorations as they are done as well as the diaper cake and the actual event.
If you are interested in having us plan your party for you please contact us at http://www.osborncreations.com/ We will take the worry off of your shoulders.

A Pooh Diaper Cake

Okay so today we are starting on a new diaper cake. This theme is Winnie the Pooh and it is for a baby girl. The client is local and would like it shipped to her friend. She would like it in a swirl style with icing.....(What we call icing is items like receiving blankets and baby clothing that will cover up the diapers so you can't tell that there are diapers under the actual cake for the base of the cake. )

We are supper excited about this because this is the first girl Pooh cake that we have done. Most of our Pooh cakes have been for little boys or questionable genders. This is the actual first one that we have made with little girl colors. Because there is a first time for everything there is a 10% off on all Pooh girl cakes (no matter how many tiers there are) until June 31st. To get your discount please go to http://www.osborncreations.com/ and go to the contact us form and fill it out with how many tiers you want, make sure you let me know it is for a girl Winnie the Pooh girl diaper cake and please use coupon code #1STPOOHGIRL to receive this offer. ****Coupon code must be entered in the description of the form to get the discount.

She got a discount as well for this first in our business history.

Diaper cakes

Hello everyone in addition to the party favors and the towel cake we have a number of other projects going on. We are also working on three diaper cakes for a local client. She wanted 2 two tier diaper cakes and 1 three tier diaper cake. These cakes will not have what we call icing. Icing is pieces of clothing or blankets that will cover the diapers on the side and top. They are an "individually rolled diaper" style with little gifts added on to them. All the diapers that are used are size one.

Left side view

This is one of the two tier diaper cakes. This is the front with the baby's name on the ribbon. She has two beautiful colors pink and purple. If you can see them there are socks that are stuck in between some of the diapers that are rolled into roses. She has two baby phat booties on this cake and there is a hanger at the top with flowers. This cake is not yet finished we still have to add the skirting and little white pink and purple roses to the cake.

Back view

This is the second two tier diaper cake. It's similar to the first with the same ribbon and flowers on it. This diaper cake has again little sock roses and Baby Phat little booties too. You will notice that the theme of these diaper cakes is "Little Princess"

Graduation Party Favors

Right now we are working on Graduation Party Favors for a client in IL. She is a repeat client and her daughter is graduating this May.

These party favors are made with candy at the top and confetti at the bottom of the cone. These party favors are embellished with a burgundy bow and gold wire. There is a picture of the grad and a small poem on the back. It reads;

Saying Goodbye is not an easy thing.

It's hard enough that some of us aren't going to see each other

Even though I am sad,

I am also happy because

I will always have those beautiful memories with all of my friends.

I will always remember the smiles, laughs, cries, hugs and their faces.

They are always and forever in my heart.

Thank you, to my CLASS OF '09!!!

We Did It!

Love You!!

Rebecca

Also I am sending her daughter a towel cake as a gift from Osborn Creations to congratulate her on a job well done. She has just been honored with the title "Student of the Year". She will be going into Nursing school so we incorporated scrubs (shirt and pants), gloves, thermometer, and an eye light onto the cake as well as towels and a graduation plush owl that holds an envelope for money or a gift card.

here are pictures in the process of making the graduation towel cake.

Here it is finished.

Congradulations again Rebecca and have a wonderful graduation party.

We also made her graduation party invitations. You can see them in one of my post.
